Diosa Beauty & Boudoir is a locally owned and operated, all-female studio based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our team consists of a passionate group of women dedicated to their craft. In recognition of our commitment and excellence, we are thrilled to announce that Diosa Boudoir has been awarded the prestigious title of Woman-Owned Business of the Year 2023. This achievement reflects our dedication to empowering women and creating positive, sometimes even life-changing, effects through our photography sessions.

Founder, Owner and Lead Photographer

I believe every woman has a storyand that story deserves to be seen, honored, and celebrated.

For a long time, I didn’t believe mine mattered.

I grew up being bullied, survived an abusive marriage, and became a mother young. In one way or another, I was made to feel that my dreams were over—that motherhood meant putting myself last and becoming everything for everyone else.

By 2009, I was a stay-at-home mom with no career, very little confidence, and no idea who I was outside of the roles I filled for other people.

But there was still a part of me that refused to disappear.

I picked up a camera not because I had a plan, but because I needed something that belonged to me. I needed a way to find myself again.

That small spark became a fire.

I began my career photographing weddings and telling love stories, but when I discovered boudoir, something inside me shifted. I realized this was more than photography. This was what I was meant to do. This was my purpose.

Boudoir is not simply about creating beautiful photographs. It is about helping women reconnect with the parts of themselves they have forgotten, hidden, or been taught to silence.

It is about helping women come home to themselves.

For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of photographing women through motherhood, heartbreak, healing, transformation, and new beginnings. I have watched women walk into my studio feeling nervous and unsure, then leave standing taller and seeing themselves in a way they never thought possible.

Today, I lead a team of incredibly talented women who share that same passion. Together, we create a space where women feel safe, supported, celebrated, and free to reconnect with themselves.

That is why I do this work.

Because you are not too old. You are not too scarred. You are not too much, and you have never been not enough.

You can survive the hardest chapters and still choose yourself.

You can lose yourself and find your way back.

You can carry scars and still be breathtaking.

Your story is not over.

You are still becoming and the woman you are becoming deserves to be seen.

    Sarah

    Associate Photographer

    Sarah is an accomplished photographer with over a decade of experience specializing in Boudoir. With a portfolio that boasts over 2,000 women photographed, Sarah brings a wealth of expertise and a keen eye for detail to every session. Her passion for boudoir photography shines through in her ability to create stunning and empowering images, making each client feel confident and extraordinary.

    Leanne

    Hair & Makeup Artist

    Leanne is the creative force behind the stunning transformations at Diosa Boudoir. she brings over a decade of expertise to every session. Her passion for her craft shines through in her work, and her ownership of her own salon, Beautifulea, speaks volumes about her dedication to the industry.

    Samanthia

    Hair & Makeup Artist

    Samanthia an Oklahoma native, found her passion for makeup artistry early on, starting with friends and family after high school. Balancing motherhood, a full-time medical career, and freelancing, she honed her skills, eventually expanding to bookings for weddings. During the pandemic, she pursued certification at Southwest Make-Up Institute, graduating in June 2021 with expertise in beauty, special effects, and film makeup. Partnering with photographers, production companies, and bridal parties, Samanthia now joyfully shares her artistry, transforming her passion into a fulfilling career.

  • Zambi

    Studio Manager

    Zambi is likely the first friendly voice you’ll hear when you reach out to book your session. With more than a decade of experience in the world of boudoir, she understands just how meaningful, vulnerable, and empowering this experience can be.

    She has a gift for making women feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely excited from the very beginning. Zambi believes every woman deserves the chance to step outside her comfort zone, embrace what makes her unique, and discover a whole new level of confidence.

    When she’s not helping clients plan their dream session, you can usually find her surrounded by dogs. Zambi works with a local rescue and is also a foster dog mom, which means there is almost always a new four-legged friend stealing her heart.

  • Kaila

    Associate Studio Manager

    As our Associate Studio Manager, Kaila loves helping women take that first step toward an experience that can truly transform the way they see themselves. She works alongside Zambi, helping with phone calls, client communication, and all the behind-the-scenes details that keep our systems running smoothly.

    Kaila plays an important role in making sure every client feels supported, informed, and cared for from the moment they reach out.
