Three-Five Weeks Before Your Session
✅ Shop for outfits if you haven’t already. If you have, finalize the details—think about accessories like jewelry, shoes, and props.
✅ Schedule a waxing appointment (if you plan to wax). Ideally, waxing should be done 4-5 days before your session to allow any redness or irritation to subside.
✅ Start moisturizing daily for soft, glowing skin.
✅ Stretch and drink plenty of water—this helps with posing flexibility and keeps your skin looking its best.
✅ Begin practicing self-love affirmations. Stand in front of the mirror and give yourself one compliment per day. It may feel awkward at first, but it truly makes a difference.
✅ If you want a haircut or color touch-up, get it scheduled so it settles before your session.
Two Weeks Before Your Session
✅ Finalize your outfit choices. If you’re unsure, feel free to send me photos—I’d love to help!
✅ Tell a trusted friend about your session. Having someone hype you up can make the experience even more exciting!
✅ Exfoliate your skin gently to remove dry patches and enhance your glow.
✅ Jot down a few words about why you booked this session. Instead of writing a full letter, a simple note on your phone about what this session means to you can be a great confidence booster.
✅ Make a plan for your post-session celebration! Whether it’s a date night, a night out with friends, or a quiet self-care evening, decide how you’ll keep the confidence going.
One Week Before Your Session
✅ Lay out your outfits so they’re easy to grab on session day.
✅ Be mindful of salty foods. Too much salt can cause bloating, so if this is something you’re sensitive to, consider lighter, fresher meals this week.
✅ Get a manicure and pedicure. Choose a neutral or complementary color that works with your outfits.
✅ Drink plenty of water—hydrated skin photographs beautifully!
✅ Prioritize good rest so you feel refreshed and energized.
The Day Before Your Session
✅ Shower, shave (if you choose), and moisturize. Avoid lotions with shimmer or SPF, as they can create unwanted shine in photos.
✅ Pack your bag with everything you need: outfits, accessories, water, a robe, and anything else that makes you feel comfortable.
✅ Avoid alcohol or excessive caffeine—you want to wake up feeling fresh and hydrated.
The Morning of Your Session
✅ Eat a light, healthy breakfast—something that won’t leave you feeling too full or bloated.
✅ Arrive with clean, dry hair and a makeup-free face so our hair and makeup artist can work their magic.
✅ Wear loose-fitting clothing. Think oversized button-downs, sweatpants, or a comfy dress. No bra, no socks, no problem! This helps avoid indentations on your skin.
✅ Stretch one last time to feel loose and comfortable in your body.
✅ Take a deep breath and remind yourself why you’re doing this. You are going to look and feel incredible.
